Ernesto Burbank is a Diné (Navajo) man born and raised in Arizona, with deep roots in both urban Phoenix and the Navajo Reservation (Dinétah). Growing up, he spent his school years in Phoenix and summers on the Reservation, where he helped his grandmother, Isabelle, herd sheep and learned about the sacred ways of life passed down through generations. These early experiences, while not fully understood at the time, shaped his worldview and understanding of honor and community.

As an adult, he came to recognize the importance of his grandmother’s teachings and how they informed his personal and professional journey. This realization sparked the creation of Honor Life Collective, a brand dedicated to holding onto traditional ways of life while embracing the modern world. The brand’s core mission is to inspire individuals to honor themselves and others, cultivating a sense of empowerment, gratitude, and community.

With a career that began as a tattoo artist and evolved into creating indigenous-rooted artwork, he sought to bridge the gap between generations, using art as a vehicle to tell the stories of his ancestors and to foster a deeper connection with heritage. This led him to establish a community network focused on empowering youth, providing them with the knowledge and tools to succeed while staying grounded in their cultural roots.

As a father, he is committed to nurturing the next generation with love, compassion, and kindness, emphasizing the importance of discipline and prayer in the manifestation of one's goals and dreams. Through Honor Life Collective, he continues to inspire others to honor their own paths, strengthen their communities, and live with purpose.
